DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits images that should be quite pleasing throughout. Images are generally sharp, with good contrast and shadow delineation. Colors are nicely balanced, appearing quite natural in exterior scenes, while some interiors exhibit warm hues that enhance slightly orange fleshtones. Source element artifacts are infrequent. On occasion, minor shimmering is noticed in the finer details, but overall the picture is quite solid, with few distractions. (Suzanne Hodges)
