In "Ride On," when debt collectors attempt –– and fail to seize the beloved stunt horse of washed-up aging stuntman Luo (Jackie Chan), video of the dynamic duo's daring escape goes viral on social media, immediately reviving Luo's movie career. But in the midst of the triumphant return to film, the. furious debt collectors return with a court order that no amount of fame –– or acrobatic antics –– can help the pair evade. (Gary Reber)

Special features include the featurettes "Behind The Scene" (HD 08:49) and "On My Horse" (HD 02:55), trailer and upfront previews.

The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally and sourced from a 4K Digital Intermediate. Picture quality is excellent. the color palette exhibits warm and rich hues. Colors are realistically saturated. Flesh tones are naturally hued. Contrast is well balanced with natural black levels, revealing shadows and warm white levels. Clarity and sharpness is exhibited throughout with generally good resolution, though a bit soft at times. Still, fine detail is seen on Red Hare's bristly coat, the historic costumes, and sets, all of which exhibit fine textures. This is a pleasing picture. (Gary Reber)

The Mandarin (English optional) DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack has lots of action sound effects executed during stunts on movie sets. Such effects are enhanced with bass frequencies and deep extension. Atmospherics are supportive of the locations. The orchestral score extends to the surrounds while providing a solid stereo soundstage. Surround envelopment expands the soundfield with discrete environmental effects. Dialogue is often ADR produced with a forward presence at times. Both Mandarin and English options are the only differences with the other sound elements the same. Optional English and Mandarin subtitles are available. (Gary Reber)
