    Dirty money and dirty secrets surround "The Swiss Conspiracy," a tale of corruption in the Swiss Alps. When five clients of an elite Swiss Bank –– entities known for their security and privacy –– are blackmailed, security consultant and former U.S. DOJ official David Christopher (David Janssen) is brought in. Love, intrigue, and a whodunnit mystery are set agains the Swiss Alps. (Gary Reber)

    Special features include commentary by film historian Robert Kelly and author/producer Daniel Budnik, the featurette "Jack Arnold: The Lost Years" (HD 14:37), liner notes in a full-color booklet and original 1976 restored trailer.

    The 1.85:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed on 35 mm film stock using the Panavision Panaflex camera system and sourced from a 2K Digital Intermediate from a 4K restoration. The film shows its age but grain is very fine and non-objectionable. The color palette exhibits rich and warm hues, which often pop or exhibit exaggerated saturation. Flesh tones vary from natural to unnatural but mostly natural. Contrast is good. Black levels are deep and shadow delineation is generally revealing. White levels appear natural. Resolution is revealing, especially during closeups of facial features, clothing fabrics and object textures. While dated, the picture is pleasing and the costume design takes one back to the days of dress-up. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0-channel monaural soundtrack is undistincuished overall with dated fidelity. Sound capture is on location but surprisingly good. Sound effects and atmospherics sound generally realistic given the dated sound elements as well as Foley sound effects. Dialogue while mostly intelligible at times close attentin is required to understand and at times forward sounding. This is an enjoiyable monaural soundtrack. (Gary Reber)
